 We will soon be confronted with an energy crisis. The world's demand for energy - oil, coal, gas - is rising. More renewable sources of energy like solar, wind and hydro power will be used in the next two decades. Governments want to develop public transport and clean energy souces to reduce greenhouse effect and the oil consumption.  


2) 

We are immediately struck by the fact that the Earth has been turned into something that looks both like a dustbin and a cooking pot. The cartoonist's goal is to make us aware of the enormous amount of waste we produce every day but also of the health hazard that waste represents. The problem of waste disposal is acute because litter is dump everywhere and is polluting rivers and oceans. Our waste should be recycle or burnt. The message is clear : our blue planet is threaten with extinction because man is destroy the environment. We should all fight for the protection of the Earth.
