There are many activities in South Australia:
-The Coorong National Park which is located 156 km southeast of Adelaide. It is home to many birds, mammals and fish. It is often used as a refuge for birds during drought.
- there is also Granite Island, which is a small island near Victor Harbor not far from Adelaide. It owes its name to the huge granite balls that dot the island. It hosts more than 700,000 visitors a year making it the most visited park in South Australia.
- there is also Coffin Bay National Park which is located 301 km west of Adelaide, The village of Coffin Bay is located at the entrance to the national park. To the east of Point Avoid are the beaches of Almonta and Gunyah, which have the reputation of being the best in the country for surfing. There is a wide variety of wild animals in the park including seabirds: bald eagle, osprey, albatross and petrel.
